Sunday!

For those of you who haven't heard yet, I am being induced Sunday evening. So, I expect Brody to arrive Monday morning or afternoon. We will be at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, where I delivered Sophie. We had such a great experience there the first time. So, the next time I blog it will be about our new baby boy, and hopefully pics will be there as well! Now, if I can make sure he stays in until Sunday so that I can enjoy my dinner at Texas Land and Cattle Friday night, and my pedicure with the girls Saturday morning. Thanks to everyone for their support during this pregnancy, it went by so fast....hard to believe that in a few days I will no longer be pregnant. Talk to everyone soon!

Latest Dr. appt.

I went to my last growth scan for this pregnancy, today, and found out that......everything looks great, and that Brody is already 6lbs. 4 oz.! They are expecting him to put on another pound before he's born, so he will be close to double what Sophie was when she was born. So much for her getting a "little" brother! Also, the hospital ended up making us wait an hour and a half before we even got into the exam room, so they felt bad and put me on the 4D ultrasound machine to see if they could get some fun pictures. You know how that goes, sometimes you still have NO idea what you're looking at, so I'll post the best ones. It's funny because we got a 4D ultrasound with Sophie, and looking today at the pics, Brody's nose and mouth look exactly like Sophie's did. Which means he will have that cute little button nose that seems to be the only resemblance to MY side of the family.

With his mouth open, he was yawning and very tired during the ultras.

Cute pic of his face, and with his hands and feet getting up into the picture.

Good pic of his face, a bit of a smushed nose in this one though.

Next news is that we finally finished Brody's room, yes I know it's about time, but we weren't as rushed as we were with Sophie. Plus I just had a shower, so he got all his goodies for his room. So everything is painted and the furniture is moved in and set up ready for little Brody to arrive!

His name on the wall, too cute.

The chair I'll spend TOO much time in!

His shelves built into the tree.

His crib all set up.

These days

A little tidbit about things to look forward to. This morning, Nick, Sophie and I went to Brenham to get pictures with the bluebonnets. The photographer was great, especially since Sophie doesn't do much "posing" for pictures! We tried to get a few good family ones as well, since that hasn't happened ever. The photographer said she'll be getting me the CD with the pictures by Good Friday, so we'll see how they turn out.

Also, I had another routine Dr. appt. yesterday. It was rushed due to Bryan having to go deilver baby #4 of the day! But he did tell me that I need to go back to have another growth scan done at the hospital (yes, that makes #3). He isn't sending me back because he's worried though, he just wants to make sure Brody's growing, and to see how much he weighs. I think he just doesn't want to be caught off guard, like he was with Sophie. Because she had obviously stopped growing long before he took her out. The scan appt. is set for April 15th, then I go back to see my Dr. the 17th. It should be a pretty good estimate of Brody's weight, because I will probably be induced April 30th, just 2 weeks later.

That's all the news these days, just getting ready for Easter, and having Sophie practice her egg hunting. She pretty much just finds 2 eggs, and bangs them together....not caring about anything else!
